The Administration is vehemently following for the creation of the post of Chief Engineer.

Sh. Dharmendra was Development Commissioner-cum-Secretary (PWD) in the Administration of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar, Haveli prior to joining Ministry of Urban Development, GoI. He has a thorough knowledge of the functioning of the Administration.

Sh. Dharmendra knows there is a person sitting in the PWD who calls himself Chief Engineer of PWD and he was there on the post when Sh. Dharmendra was Secretary (PWD) of the Administration and he also knows this letter was for legalising the person sitting and calling himself as Chief Engineer of PWD.
