Administration have taken yet another excuse of large works to create post of Chief Engineer. The question arise here is that why they want to create post of Chief Engineer?

Why post of Superintending Engineer is not filled by promotion from the existing executive Engineers of PWD from Administration of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar, Haveli?

This letter clearly states that it is not feasible to create post of Chief Engineer in UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar, Haveli. Among the reasons mentioned are that creation of post of Chief Engineer is not going to benefit UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar, Haveli because this post is proposed to be filled up by deputation, which will not benefit local engineers since on deputation Chief Engineer will be selected from outside.

The last letter displayed here was signed by the Chief Engineer, PWD, Daman & Diu and this one has subject that says Creation of post of Chief Engineer.

What is this? Will somebody answer this?

When there is no post of Chief Engineer in PWD than who is this person who has signed this letter as Chief Engineer of PWD?

As mentioned in last post, this letter was also written by Sh. Sudhir Chawda who calls himself Chief Engineer (Civil), PWD, Daman and was addressed to Executive Engineers of Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar, Haveli.

Irony is that he is seeking information for creation of post of Chief Engineer in PWD, Administration of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar, Haveli, then how he can be Chief Engineer?
