Incorrect information by the Collector's Office, Daman

The RTI request was made before the PIO, O/o the Collector, Daman for information on letter No. DARPG/M/2010/04034 received from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions regarding encroachment over Public Works Department, Administration of Daman & Diu by Shri R. N. Singh.

The Superintendent (Estt.)/PIO of o/o the Collector, Daman informed that their office does not have that letter.

There were copies of some letters received from PWD which shows reference to the letter on which information was asked for and that letter was inwarded in the o/o the Collector, Daman and forwarded to the Superintending Engineer, PWD, Daman.

These letters shows where they were received, where they were forwarded and who forwarded them.

These letters clearly shows lies told by the Collector's Office, Daman. The PIO from Collector's office, Daman should explain the incorrect information provided under the RTI Act, 2005.
