Today I submitted my views on Draft Notification for roads

PCC without soling

These photographs are from work executed at Taxi Stand, Nani Daman.

What kind of work is executed and which department is responsible to execute this work is unknown. Since, there is no display board put up on site.

The main thing to observe in these photographs are that there is no rubble soling done on ground before laying of PCC.

I am not sure whether item of soling is taken or not while preparing estimate or soling is considered while preparing estimate but this item is left out purposely with tacit support of engineers as part of SCAM?

Information Commissioners from CIC oppose proposed amendment to dilute RTI Act, 2005

A government moves to weaken RTI Act, 2005 by amending the same. It is the only weapon available with the common citizens of the nation to check the functioning of the public authorities.

It should be an endeavour of citizens to oppose this amendment at every possible forum.

No information forthcoming 1st Appeal was submitted and even after the Order of FAA, no information was provided. 2nd Appeal was submitted.
