RTI request was submitted as per direction of the Appellate Authority/Chief Executive Officer through Appeal Order since the PIO had given excuse for not providing file pertaining to one work saying that it is in custody of CBI and hence cannot be provided and on further deliberation, instruction was given under his written Order to submit new RTI to get the copy of letter of handing over of file to CBI and the PIO promised before FAA that as soon as we receive new RTI, the letter would be given to the Appellant.
But as all know how District Panchayat, Daman is functioning, they have not provided copy of the same.
There can be only one reason for not providing the copy and that is they have not given that file to anyone but the PIO wants to hide it from public scrutiny since that file may be containing explosive information that can jeopardise career of many government employees, politicians and by not providing the letter the PIO is shielding scoundrels responsible for looting public money.
